Posted on Wednesday 30th December 2015

NHS England is looking to recruit four Patient and Public Voice representatives, including a co-chair, for the Independent Investigations Governance Committee (IIGC).

The IIGC has been established to provide national governance and accountability for independent investigations commissioned across NHS England and to ensure national recommendations and associated actions are followed up. It will provide oversight of the processes followed to commission and manage independent investigations, as outlined within the NHS England Serious Incident Management Framework to ensure investigations are carried out for the purposes of learning, to prevent recurrence and promote improvements.

The committee meets four times  a year and takes place in London.  For further information about the post please contact Robert.tunmore@nhs.net|

The deadline for applications is noon Monday 11th January 2016 with interviews on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.  A copy of the application pack, application form and equal opportunities form can be found on our website https://www.england.nhs.uk/publications/reviews-and-reports/invest-reports/|
