Statement from NHS North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) on NHS Staff Survey – 2017

NHS North Cumbria CCG Staff Survey results for 2017 show a considerable improvement on recent years.

The survey had a response rate of 76.3 per cent and showed an improvement in 27 areas. This includes:

• significantly better communication between senior managers and staff

• senior managers acting on staff feedback

• staff being involved in deciding changes that affect their work and being able to contribute to improvement

• staff feeling their work is valued

Dr David Rogers, medical director of the CCG, said: “We are really pleased to see such an improvement in our staff survey. We have worked very hard in the areas that members of staff have highlighted, but we know there is more work to be done. It has taken considerable effort by all our teams to get to this point and we are proud of everyone for their contribution.”
